Officially founded in 2018, in partnership with U.S. based TravelPirate Tours and local Thai operators. Our company was built after seeing visitors to our island constantly being crammed into overcrowded boats by tour companies and not having the "island experience" they were hoping for. We built our online platform so visitors can easily reserve and book a private tour around the island while still supporting the local community. We understand, navigating the hiring process of private long tail boat trips can be difficult and confusing for most. You never know exactly where you will be going and what type of service you will receive. We wanted a different more personable approach...

Our team is made up of local Thai's from Phi Phi or nearby Krabi, Phang Nga, and Phuket. Together we hope to create a "Island Experience"that is everything you dreamt of and more. U.S. Partner &
Marketing Manager
Rob aka (TravelPirate) is our western partner and brainchild behind all of our tours. Originally from USA, Rob has traveled his way across Thailand since 2011 more times then we can count. He started TravelPirate as a way to promote "The Real" Thailand. You will find him either helping customers, handling our online marketing platforms, or developing new partnerships and TravelPirate Tour locations.
Hannafee
Thai Partner &
Local Guide
Hannafee is our local Thai partner and close friend of TravelPirate. Hannafee a true local to Phi Phi Don his family were fishermen before the crowds of visitors began to descend upon the island. His knowledge of the islands geography and hidden coves is unmatchable. He can be found helping guide our customers on an adventure filled day around the island. He speaks excellent English and is happy to help make your day out at sea exactly what you want.
Lam
Local Guide
Lam is one of our local guides and originally from Phang Nga province. Lam loves to be out on the water kayaking or fishing. His family operates long tail boat tours in Krabi. We are currently working on expanding our Tours with his family to Phang Nga and Krabi. You can find Lam happily smiling on one of our tours and sharing stories about fishing on the open waters. Definitely an asset to our team, you will be lucky to have Lam as your Local Guide for the day!
